Event Report: 1st Anniversary Collaboration Instagram Live & Thanks Party
KNOW YOUR ORIGIN celebrated its first anniversary on April 17th. To help all women feel proud of who they are now, we developed "Beauty Charge -Femcare-", an inner beauty booster, as a new self-care approach that doesn't just react to what happens. We were able to reach this milestone thanks to the support of each and every one of you who empathized with us.
To express our gratitude to everyone who has supported "Beauty Charge -Femcare-", we designated May as our 1st-anniversary month and held special collaborative Instagram Live sessions and a Thanks Party. It was a wonderful event, enveloped in a warm atmosphere, serving as a platform to share knowledge useful for beauty and health, as well as tips for living comfortably every day.

Menopause and Femcare Guide from Your 30s
In May, the Instagram Live sessions hosted by KNOW YOUR ORIGIN representative Seo every Tuesday at 9 PM were special content, featuring women who shine in their own unique way as guests.
Part 1 was a collaborative live session with Tomo, founder of OHANA HEALING INSTITUTE in Kailua, Hawaii. We broadcasted from her salon in Kailua, bathed in soft sunlight.
Tomo, who spent 18 years in LA and 16 years in Hawaii and runs an aromatherapy school, is a woman with a wonderfully natural smile.
She and Seo discussed her personal battle with illness and her journey to discovering aromatherapy, emphasizing the importance of facing oneself and understanding one's body during the significant changes women experience from their 30s through menopause.
In America, where care with clear objectives is favored, cranberry juice and pineapple juice are said to be good for delicate area odor care, and deodorizing tablets are also sold.
During the live session, Seo was captivated by an attractive woman in her 80s who passed by the salon. Seeing her actively working as an esthetician at a facial salon, Seo renewed her resolve to strive for a society where people can live high-quality, authentic lives, no matter their age.
The conversation then expanded to Tomo's secrets for maintaining natural beauty and aromatic distilled water, concluding with a laughter-filled hour that even coined the powerful phrase, "In this era of 100-year lifespans, I don't want to experience urinary incontinence for 100 years!"

72-year-old active trainer's secrets to living authentically
The guest for Collaborative Live Part 2 was Junko Sone, an active trainer who was also interviewed in our Journal. She is an "It Lady" whose lifestyle has garnered attention since the release of her essay "71 Years Old, Living in a Housing Complex: Enjoying Every Morning in My Single Life" (Diamond, Inc.) in December 2023.
Ms. Sone has experienced divorce, poverty, and cancer. Her words carry a different weight, having overcome painful experiences unimaginable from her current cheerful demeanor.
The live session started with answering questions from followers.
Ms. Sone, whose glamorous makeup enhances her charm, generously demonstrated how to draw eyeliner that defines her impression, massages to create a beautiful bust and décolletage, and muscle training to achieve a wrinkle-free neck. The participants were surprised to see Seo's improved facial contours after trying the exercises.
Also, only Ms. Sone could speak about the joys of romance from one's 50s onward.
"I used to think that romance was out of the question once I reached my late 50s, but once I had the time to take care of myself, I started getting approached on the street, which boosted my confidence. Romance from your 50s is like a drama and it's the best, where you can enjoy various situations with each other, focusing only on the good things, without the mindset of wanting to be taken care of, but instead having an equal relationship," she commented, offering encouraging words.
For those who struggle to think positively, she advised, "It's easy to worry and get depressed. Since there's nothing positive to gain, it's better to find ways to overcome it without overexertion. I recommend training your positive thinking by telling yourself, 'I'll be back to my energetic self after a good night's sleep.'"
It was an intense Instagram Live, with an hour flying by in a flash of enthusiasm.

Thanks Party
The 1st-anniversary event concluded with a Thanks Party.
We invited our regular subscribers to a small dinner party.
The venue was "DepTH Brianza," an innovative Italian restaurant in Azabudai Hills.
Since the brand's launch, KNOW YOUR ORIGIN had always envisioned creating a community where women could share their worries and difficulties and support each other. On the occasion of our first anniversary, the entire staff agreed to host a real-life event, and it became a reality.
All the guests who attended that day were incredibly powerful and beautiful!
Seeing everyone shine by transforming their age into charm, someone even exclaimed, "Time is distorted!"
They were all individuals who were leveraging their individuality as strengths to achieve their ideal selves, or steadily moving towards their aspirations.
The entire staff was deeply moved to learn that "Beauty Charge -Femcare-" had become an integral part of their lives.
Enjoying delicious food, sharing their backgrounds, powerfully encouraging each other, and gently offering advice – it was a scene that perfectly embodied Seo's dream of a community where people connect through KNOW YOUR ORIGIN and uplift each other.
Time flew by, and it was soon time to say a reluctant farewell.
Finally, the party concluded with guests receiving souvenirs.
The souvenirs were a femcare set that included "SIMPLISSE The Balance Mucous Membrane Care Plus+" from the wellness brand SIMPLISSE, as well as SONNENTOR herbal tea and natoracare organic panty liners from Omochabako Co., Ltd., an importer and distributor of organic products. All of these are items that Seo personally uses.
